Exclusive: Rosario Dawson Shows Off Her Lightsaber Skills in New ‘Ahsoka’ Clip

Rosario Dawson stars as Ahsoka Tano in the Disney+ series, which marks the latest expansion of the already massive ‘Star Wars’ universe.

Rosario Dawson gets caught up in an all-hands-on-deck fight in an exclusive clip from Ahsoka, which is now streaming on Disney+.

The clip opens with a lamentation about a certain “daft droid,” followed immediately by a fast-paced fight just outside the ship.

The series, which premiered on Disney+ in August, is directed by Dave Filoni and sees Dawson reprising her role as Mandalorian character Ahsoka Tano.

“I love where Ahsoka is at this point,” Dawson said last year while the series was still in production. “She’s just this samurai warrior out there fighting and battling and being on the good side of things.”

According to Dawson, the Ahsoka series allows her and her collaborators to “explore a little bit more” about the character and her community.

For those new to the character, and/or for anyone in need of a refresher prior to diving into the latest Star Wars spinoff, Complex recently put together a rundown of 10 key facts about Ahsoka Tano. For example, the character is known for having dueled with Darth Maul (twice) and Darth Vader (once). See more here.

Next up on the slate of Mandalorian-connected miniseries is Skeleton Crew, starring Jude Law. While Disney initially said Skeleton Crew would be debuting at some point in 2023, an official release date has not yet been announced.
