That's so Raven.

Several major news outlets are now confirming that Raven-Symoné has successfully reinserted her foot directly into her mouth, offering some pretty rambling thoughts on the increasingly egregious Ben Fieldssituation. "The girl was told multiple times to get off her phone," Raven-Symoné told whoever the hell still watches The View earlier this week. "There was no reason for him to be doing this type of harm, but at the same time, you’ve got to follow the rules."

Perhaps sensing that she couldn’t just abandon her personal brand, a brand most known for its penchant for spewing ridiculousness on national TV before quickly releasing a hackneyed apology, Raven doubled down on her analysis. "He was actually sued for false arrest, excessive force and battery in 2007 after a couple accused him of manhandling," Raven said, sounding briefly reasonable before delivering this brain-puncher: "He has a record and he’s still hired, but at the same time, get off your phone."

As for Fields’ "record," its glaring red flags include a violent and racially charged encounter with Army veteran Carlos Martin in 2005. During the arrest, which took place while Wilson was in uniform, was reportedly spawned by a nearby noise complaint and included Fields’ headlines-grabbing statement of stupidity: "I’m glad Johnnie Cochran is dead." Fields was eventually fired.
