Pete Davidson Allegedly Sought Out Trauma Therapy Over Kanye’s Social Media Posts

Words like “source” and “insider” are here with another new alleged wrinkle in the ongoing Pete Davidson, Kim Kardashian, and Ye quasi-saga.

Monday night, Peopleshared a report in which it cited a source as alleging that Davidson sought out trauma therapy earlier this year “in large part” due to social media posts from Ye, who earlier this year shared a number of IG updates focused on Davidson (as well as referenced him in his and The Game’s “Eazy” track and claymation video).

“The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for [Pete], and he’s had to seek out help,” an individual described as an “insider” said in Monday’s report, which claimed Davidson had been utilizing such services since April.

Earlier on Monday, Ye shared and later deleted a photoshopped image of a Pete and Kid Cudi-mocking New York Times front-page with the headline SKETE DAVIDSON DEAD AT AGE 28, marking the return of a nickname Ye had previously used frequently when mentioning the actor and comedian amid his (allegedly since-ended) relationship with Kim.

All of this comes amid the release of A24’s Bodies Bodies Bodies, the Davidson-featuring slasher directed by Halina Reijn and starring Amandla Stenberg, Myha’la Herrold, Maria Bakalova, Chase Sui Wonders, and Rachel Sennott. The well-reviewed film is far from the only thing on Davidson’s increasingly stacked slate, however. Fans will soon see the former SNL star alongside Kaley Cuoco in the rom-com Meet Cute, as well as in the series Bupkis (working title), which is said to be inspired by Davidson’s real life.

Earlier this year, Davidson made an appearance in Machine Gun Kelly and Mod Sun’s Open Road Films-backed weed comedy Good Mourning.
