McDonald's Celebrates All-Day Breakfast Announcement by Replying to Really Old Tweets

Fresh off their mild feud with Burger King, McDonald's is really out here making sure people can eat anything they want at any time of day.

Just days after rival faux fast food manufacturer Burger King attempted to squash the beef not-exactly-beef with McDonald's via an edible collaboration, the Ronald McDonald empire announced the arrival of an all-day breakfast menu. Starting October 6, more than 14,000 McDonald's restaurants will begin serving breakfast at 2:33 in the afternoon, 11:17 at night, and every other time included the description "all day."

The American Twitterati, as expected, responded with a distinctly red-white-and-blue brand of 'Merica-tinged enthusiasm:

Sensing this enthusiasm, McDonald's decided to track down and reply to tweets as old as seven years. In Twitter years, tweets of that age are generally considered quite dead indeed:
