Larry David Doesn't Really Care About Anyone Watching Him Host 'Saturday Night Live'

Still a god after all these years.

A properCurb Your Enthusiasm send-off might still be years away (or never happening), but we're still managing to get some fresh Larry David-isms this month thanks to Saturday Night Live. The young god LD will serve as the ringleader for this week's festivities, which will presumably include a fair share of Bernie Sanders action and at least one slightly meta Seinfeld reference.

However, if LD's behavior in the promo clips above is any indication, he's predictably very not concerned with people actually watching the show. "You don't have to watch it," David insists. "Don't worry about it. If you got something to do, honest to god, go ahead and do it." David's promo partner, Leslie Jones, isn't really into this lackadaisical approach: "Don't listen to him. You have to watch."

This obvious hero hosts the Feb. 6 episode of Saturday Night Live, with musical guests The 1975. Jennifer Lawrence, for one, will definitely be watching.
