Lakeith Stanfield, Daniel Craig, and Chris Evans are all going to be in the same Rian Johnson-directed movie together.

Monday, Deadlinehit us with the news (via Birth.Movies.Death.) that the Atlanta and Sorry to Bother You star had joined the cast of the Star Wars: The Last Jedi director's upcoming Knives Out. The plot of the film, for which Johnson also penned the script, is being kept as close to a secret as is possible. However, Monday's report notes that it's believed to be a "modern day murder mystery" starring Stanfield and Craig as detectives. (Bear in mind Johnson's completely wild Looper could technically be boringly referred to as a "near-future sci-fi time-travel actioner.")

The film will mark Johnson's first full-length project since December 2017's Last Jedi, which—despite bots and bastards' best efforts—is still considered by reasonable people to be a very good movie. Earlier this year, Johnson contributed his talents to LCD Soundsystem's "Oh Baby" video.

Stanfield, meanwhile, is fresh off the success of Atlanta's sophomore season and a starring turn in Boots Riley's Best Film of 2018 contender Sorry to Bother You. He's also set to appear in The Girl in the Spider's Web, Uncut Gems, and Someone Great.

Speaking with Collider last month when news of Craig's involvement with Knives Out first broke, Johnson revealed why he and producer Ram Bergman wanted the James Bond franchise star.

"I have been a huge fan and always wanted to work with him and as I worked on the script, trying to get it right, Ram and I were wringing our hands over who could be the detective," Johnson said. "Then, serendipitously, we heard Daniel might have a small window, and it worked out. He's an actor of extraordinary range, and we are looking forward to the fun of finding that modern detective, and collaborating with Daniel on creating a new Poirot."
