Breakout Lady Bird and Call Me by Your Name star Timothée Chalamet has been tapped by Netflix to play a young King Henry V.

Chalamet takes the role in Animal Kingdom writer/director David Michôd's upcoming film The King, Deadlinereported Thursday. Michôd, who also worked with Netflix for the 2017 satire War Machine starring Brad Pitt, penned the script with fellow Netflix alum Joel Edgerton.

The King will be produced by Pitt's Plan B alongside Michôd, Edgerton, and Animal Kingdom's Liz Watts. Production on the presumed 2019 release kicks off this June.

Chalamet very recently had the distinct honor and privilege of being interviewed by Frank Fucking Ocean for VMan. During their discussion, the two understandably geeked out over the unmatched Joaquin Phoenix and the presence of an on-set drugs consultant for the upcoming Beautiful Boy. "It felt like a big responsibility to get that right," Chalamet said of Beautiful Boy, which also stars Steve Carell. "The movie is about addiction, and to get the actual using wrong would betray anyone's experiences walking that path. It was very helpful."

But first, the Oscars. Chalamet is up for Best Actor this year for his role as Elio in Call Me by Your Name, which is itself up for Best Picture alongside Greta Gerwig's Lady Bird. The nomination, Chalamet later said, gave him a "feeling of gratitude" for "the artists past honored in this category and all of the nominees of this year."

Find out who will actually receive what when Jimmy Kimmel hosts this year's ceremony live from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood March 4.
