Kim Kardashian's Jet Searched by Immigration Officials Days After She Criticized Muslim Ban

Kim Kardashian's private jet was searched by immigration officials at LAX.

The Kardashians' private jet was reportedly searched by immigration officials upon arrival at LAX, just days after Kim Kardashian publicly criticized Trump's Muslim ban with a simple but effective tweet. The Kardashians were returning home from a four-day trip to Costa Rica when "customs and immigration officials" boarded the aircraft and conducted a search, the Daily Mailreported Wednesday.

In addition to the inspection, those aboard the plane were interviewed by officials. Kim had been accompanied by Kris Jenner, Kylie, Tyga, Kourtney, and Khloé on the trip. At the time of publication, no one in the family had publicly addressed the incident.

Last weekend, Kim responded to Trump's Muslim ban chaos with a tweeted stats chart showing the number of Americans killed each year by a variety of threats ranging from "far right-wing terrorists" to simply being "shot by another American." She later retweeted an impassioned plea for unity from Harry Hudson:

Kim has become increasingly active across social media in recent weeks, marking a return to form following a break from the public eye initiated by last October's armed robbery in Paris:
