Kevin Spacey is now the subject of a criminal complaint related to an alleged 2016 sexual assault.
Per a report published Monday by the Boston Globe, Spacey is alleged to have assaulted the son of former Boston WCVB-TV anchor Heather Unruh at a bar in Nantucket, Massachusetts. The canned House of Cards star is set to be arraigned on an indecent assault and battery charge Jan. 7.
Spacey is accused of purchasing alcohol for Unruh's son, who was 18 at the time of the alleged incident at The Club Car but told the actor he was old enough to drink, "until he was drunk." At this point, Unruh has said previously, Spacey allegedly placed a hand inside Unruh's son's pants "and grabbed his genitals." Her son eventually fled the bar at the suggestion of another patron while Spacey was in the restroom.
"I'm pleased that the case is moving forward in the judicial system," Unruh said in a statement Monday. Within an hour of the Globe story hitting, Spacey shared a confusingly House of Cards-nodding video to Twitter:

Los Angeles prosecutors are reviewing another sexual assault allegation against Oscar winner Kevin Spacey. There are currently no specific details or confirmation that the most recent alleged event took place.
"If I didn't pay the price for the things we both know I did do, I'm certainly not going to pay the price for the things I didn't do," Spacey, speaking in Underwood's accent, said in the clip. "Of course they're going to say I’m being disrespectful not playing by the rules like I ever played by anyone’s rules before."
Spacey has been accused by multiple men of sexual abuse and/or misconduct, including incidents alleged to have occurred during House of Cards. The fallout has included Spacey being nixed from a Ridley Scott at the last minute, Spacey's House of Cards character Frank Underwood being killed off, and his character getting an actual gravestone at a cemetery in Gaffney, South Carolina.
