Kardashian Sisters Reportedly 'Going to War' to Stop Blac Chyna From Using Family Name

Looking to trademark a new name for yourself, particularly one that ends with "Kardashian"? Not so fast. Even Blac Chyna is having a hard time (reportedly!) trying to trademark the name Angela Renee Kardashian, TMZreported Wednesday. In fact, TMZ claims to have obtained documents showing that the Kardashian sisters are "going to war" to block Chyna from using the name.

Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé's companies are reportedly opposing Chyna's trademark request because they fear they will "suffer damage including irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill." Furthermore, TMZclaims the documents accuse Chyna of "deliberately seeking to profit from the goodwill and popularity" of the Kardashian brand.

Chyna is reportedly trying to trademark the Angela Renee Kardashian name to use it for entertainment and social media work, but the Kardashians aren't having any of that. The legal rift, sources say, "is nasty." News of the Angela Renee Kardashian trademark first broke back in May, with obtained documents showing that she had filed to claim the name as a "social media celebrity."

Chyna recently gave birth to her and Rob Kardashian's first child together, Dream Renee Kardashian. "Rob seems extremely happy," a so-called "source" toldPeople last month of how the couple was doing following Dream's arrival. "Rob is very impressed with how Chyna is recovering. He thinks she is great with the baby too."
