'Impractical Jokers' Alum Joe Gatto Releases First-Ever Solo Special 'Messing With People'

The development behind this set marked "a labor of love," per Gatto.

For his first-ever solo standup special, Joe Gatto, a name you’ll recognize from Impractical Jokers and The Misery Index, took a production crew to the Paramount on Long Island.

“Developing this comedy hour was a labor of love for over two years of my life as I transitioned into a new way of entertaining fans through standup comedy,” Gatto said in press notes, adding that he “loved every minute” of the process.

The result, titled Messing With People, is out now on YouTube. Catch it up top.

This week, Gatto keeps his road journey going with planned stops in Savannah, Georgia, and Chattanooga, Tennessee. In fact, Gatto is currently set to be on the road through at least the middle of next March.

September has proven particularly busy for Gatto, with the Two Cool Moms podcast co-host also currently fresh off the release of his debut children's book. Out now through Penguin Random House, Where’s Bearry? features illustrations by Luke Flowers and focuses on a young boy who will stop at nothing in his pursuit to find a missing teddy bear.
