In what is very easily the only appropriate visual equivalent of Meek Mill's Dreams Worth More Than Money opener "Lord Knows," Daniel Craig glides effortlessly across fields of action movie tropes in the new trailer for Spectre. For this entry in the James Bond canon, Craig is joined by expert villain embodier Christoph Waltz — who quietly delivers what is very likely one of the finest bits of dialogue in Bond history with "It was me, James; the author of all your pain."
Spectre, the 24th film in the franchise, marks an interesting throwback to the 1971 Bond film Diamonds Are Forever with the return of the SPECTRE (Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion) criminal organization. Waltz's character reportedly plays a crucial role in SPECTRE's reemergence in the Bond narrative, meaning we'll likely get to see Waltz go full Waltz at some point during the film.
Opening on November 6 here in the States, Spectre also stars Monica Bellucci, Ralph Fiennes, Léa Seydoux, and Andrew Scott.
