And no, the home is not actually located in the Bel-Air area.

Anyone with tens of millions of dollars burning a hole in their pocket may soon have a chance to own the Fresh of Bel-Air house.

As first reported by TMZ, the house, known for its exterior facade fame in connection with the Will Smith-led series, is slated to go on sale soon for nearly $30 million. The home boasts six bedrooms and encompasses roughly 10,000 total square feet of living space, having originally been erected back in 1937.

To be clear, the property, though forever linked with the larger Fresh Prince legacy, is not actually located in the Bel-Air area. Instead, it’s located in Brentwood. Per Tuesday’s report, a Netflix series is currently using the home in an unspecified series, suggesting it remains in high demand nearly three decades after Fresh Prince wrapped its original network run.

The Altman Brothers, a real estate duo, is cited in TMZ’s reporting as handling the impending sale. Complex has reached out to them for comment. This story may be updated.

“Instantly recognizable around the world, the home has stood as one of the most famous exteriors in television history, while remaining one of the neighborhood’s most prestigious addresses,” the Altman Brothers said in an Instagram update on Monday (Jan. 12).

Almost 30 years after wrapping its original run, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air remains a cultural touchstone for a slew of fans. It’s also viewed as the launching pad for star Will Smith, who has amassed an Oscar win and three nominations in the years since his sitcom dominance.
