The Inevitable Battle Between a Fancy Italian Cheese Consortium and PornHub Might Finally Be Happening

There's a wonderful pun in here somewhere, though a possible lawsuit begs to differ.

Sadly, the Italian cheese connoisseurs at the Parmigiano-ReggianoConsortium aren't very big fans of the recent PornHub cosign they received in an advertisement. The playful ad (see above) for the largest pornography site in the world's newly launched Netflix-esque subscription service lovingly refers to the upper echelon of dairy as "the PornHub Premium of cheeses," surely an endorsement worth vigorously embracing.

However, the consortium is so displeased with the comparison that the company's PR team released a statement ("What do you do?" "I'm a publicist for cheese.") calling the ad "not only distasteful and unacceptable, but offensive for our producers and their work." According to the Guardian, the cheese consortium is considering the possible pursuit of firm legal action.

Though PornHub currently nets around 78.9 billion views annually, the consortium tasked with protecting the spotless public image of a type of pressed milk curd doesn't want any of that action. Lesson learned, cheese. Lesson learned. Meanwhile, the rest of the world is Summer-of-Georging its way through a wonderfully twisted combination of porn and cheese known by its devoted practitioners as CheeseHub (?)
