Drew Carey's kid is apparently well-versed in the ethos of punk rock. Last week's viral smash starring a fire-loving kid with some harsh words for the former Apprentice host currently living in the White House? Well, TMZ is reporting that mystery kid is none other than 11-year-old Connor, the son of celebrated Price Is Right host Drew Carey.
Connor reportedly "got caught up in the emotions of the crowd" during the massive inauguration protests in Washington D.C. Shortly after, TMZ's source claimed, he was "in hot water" with the family due to his televised choice of words. As meme historians will recall, the clip shows the kid telling a Fox News reporter he started a small fire as a way of "just saying, 'screw our president.'" Hell yeah Connor!
For some reason, a Fox & Friends tweet of the video censors out the "screw" part of his statement:
"I was just down the street having dinner and my kid wanted to see it," Carey told TMZ the night of the "screw our president" moment, seemingly unaware of any such incident or the resulting viral superstardom:
