Disney+, the latest streaming content provider to vie for our monthly dollars amid an already crowded market, is experiencing some bumps in the road on its much-hyped launch day.

As The Hollywood Reporter noted in an early Tuesday report, users experienced various error messages while trying to enjoy their inaugural accessing of the new service. While signing up for the app itself appears to have been a breeze for most users, the process of actually using it on smart TVs and similar devices has—for some, at least—not been a smooth ride.

While Disney said in a tweeted statement it was "working to quickly resolve the current user issue."

DownDetector stats at the time of this writing showed a Tuesday morning spike of more than 8,000 reports of accessibility problems.

Upon launch, Disney+ is offering a one-week trial, followed by a $6.99 monthly fee. The subscription gives viewers access to a new Star Wars series titled The Mandalorian, as well as a vast selection of Disney megaclassics and new originals.

Among the classics included in the catalog are beloved Disney Channel relics like Lizzie McGuire, That's So Raven, and Boy Meets World. Disney even gave Toy Story's Forky his own show—a 10-part collection of shorts dubbed Forky Asks a Question.
