Friday is a classic. Everybody loves that movie. Everybody has a favorite line or scene or character. That's why the mostly panned sequels, Next Friday (2000) and Friday After Next (2002), were still met with decent box office numbers. But another round of Friday more than a decade later? Ice Cube is apparently up for it. Chris Tucker? Not so much.

"You know, it's so funny, I was watching Friday last night," Tucker toldGlobal Grind's BlogXilla Monday. "I was flipping through the television and I was watching it. It was, you know, a moment in time. I was a young kid. I was laughing through the whole thing too. And I was proud of that, making myself laugh. [But] I don't know if we could do another one. I don't know if I could do another one because I was so young and it was a moment in time, but we'll see."

The last thing we heard about any Last Friday plans came straight from Ice Cube, who teased the project on Twitter by revealing he had recently had some sort of a "meeting" and that the next steps were up to New Line Cinema:

Though Cube popped in for Next Friday and Friday After Next, Tucker hasn't played his iconic Smokey character since the original 1995 film from director F. Gary Gray. After practically disappearing for a few years, Tucker returned to the spotlight with a Netflix stand-up special in 2015. Tucker will next be seen alongside Kristen Stewart and Steve Martin in Ang Lee's Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk Nov. 11:
