Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, the hotly anticipated ninth film from writer/director Quentin Tarantino, has unveiled the actor who will be portraying the late Charles Manson.

Entertainment Weeklyconfirmed late Tuesday that Justified's Damon Herriman will take on the role, joining previously announced leads Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt. Rumer Willis, Costa Ronin, and Dreama Walker are among the rest of the newly confirmed additions to Tarantino's already stacked cast. Earlier this week, we learned that Polish actor Rafal Zawierucha had been tapped for Roman Polanski.

For the film, portions of Los Angeles were completely transformed to resemble the 1969 scenery that encapsulated the region during that fateful summer. Though Tarantino himself has been understandably mum on plot details about the film, due next year, the general understanding is that DiCaprio is playing a washed-up western TV star whose next-door neighbor ends up being Sharon Tate. Margot Robbie, who bagged an Oscar nom for her role as Tonya Harding in last year's I Tonya, will portray Tate, who was pregnant and married to Polanski at the time of the Manson family murders.

The real-life Manson, who was serving a life sentence at California State Prison, died last November at the age of 83. In March, a judge ruled that Manson's remains should be given to purported grandson Jason Freeman. Others, including Michael Brunner and Michael Channels, had also come forward claiming to have wills of their own.
