Actress Debbie Reynolds, the mother of Carrie Fisher, has reportedly been rushed to the hospital following a "possible stroke." EMTs "raced" to her son Todd Fisher's home in Beverly Hills just after 1 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a 911 call, TMZreported. Reynolds, 84, was reportedly at the residence discussing funeral plans for Carrie, who died Tuesday at the age of 60.

Reynolds, whose illustrious career includes classic appearances in iconic slices of cinema such as Singin' in the Rain and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, has been "distraught" since Fisher suffered a heart attack aboard a United flight to Los Angeles last week. Earlier this year, a documentary about their mother-daughter relationship premiered at the Cannes Film Festival to critical acclaim. The film, entitled Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds, is slated to premiere on HBO in March 2017.

Fisher died Tuesday morning, family spokesperson Simon Halls toldPeople. "It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning," Halls said. The daughter of Reynolds and singer Eddie Fisher, Carrie's creative contributions spanned from her unparalleled work in the Star Wars universe to her equally impactful status as an in-demand screenwriter and author.

In a statement released Tuesday afternoon, Star Wars creator George Lucas remembered Fisher as a longtime friend and an "extremely smart" artist. "In Star Wars she was our great and powerful princess—feisty, wise, and full of hope in a role that was more difficult that most people might think," he said in a statement to E! News. "My heart and prayers are with Billie, Debbie, and all Carrie's family, friends, and fans. She will be missed by all."
