Though Caitlyn Jenner's eight-part E! docuseries I Am Cait doesn't arrive until July 28, Jenner has already been sharing brief glimpses at her life since that iconic Diane Sawyer interview — most recently with a joyous Father's Day snap via the 'gram:
In a just-released clip (see above) from I Am Cait, Jenner discusses her goals for the series — namely the proud display of what she has beautifully deemed "the new normal." Jenner says she is simply telling her story, with the hopes that — for others — that narrative will grow to become "the story of who you really are."
Jenner promises equal parts motorcycles and shopping, indicating that the series will give her the opportunity to talk about "everything." Regardless of how some might feel regarding E! Entertainment Television, Caitlyn Jenner's decision to document her journey via the mainstream network is a brave and empowering move. One could argue that the series might very well inspire enlightenment and acceptance among some previously close-minded viewers — truly a feat worth celebrating.
