Watch the New Trailer for ‘Bullet Train’ f/ Brad Pitt, Brian Tyree Henry, Bad Bunny, Zazie Beetz, and More

Brad Pitt stars in director David Leitch’s new action comedy based on Kōtarō Isaka’s book 'Maria Beetle.' The surefire hit is out this July.

“Every job I do, somebody dies. I’m not that guy anymore.”

These words, spoken by Brad Pitt in the just-released trailer for Bullet Train, clearly signal that his character isn’t going to have the easiest time dealing with an assortment of assassins. Pitt is joined in the new David Leitch-directed movie by Atlanta’s Brian Tyree Henry and Zazie Beetz, as well as an extended cast that also features Bad Bunny, Sandra Bullock, Andrew Koji, Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Shannon, and more.

The latest from the Deadpool 2 and Hobbs & Shaw director is based on Kōtarō Isaka’s book Maria Beetle. At one point in the adaptation’s development, as previously reported by Collider, Bullock replaced Lady Gaga in the crucial role of Pitt’s character’s handler. The change was said to be due to a scheduling conflict, with a report at the time noting that Gaga (due to pandemic-shifted schedules) had become “mired in prep” for House of Gucci.

Also on Pitt’s agenda for the year is The Lost City with Bullock and Channing Tatum, out this month, and Damien Chazelle’s Babylon drama with Margot Robbie. The latter is currently slated to receive a limited release in December, after which it will expand to additional screens at the top of 2023.

Meanwhile, the actor’s Plan B Entertainment recently made headlines thanks to the revival of Beetlejuice sequel chatter.
