Lindsay Lohan and her husband Bader Shammas will be welcoming a child together.
“We are very excited for our new family member to arrive and we are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives!” she told TMZ. This will be Lohan’s first child.
The 36-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday to also share the announcement, writing, “We are blessed and excited!”
Lohan and Shammas said their I do’s last year, with the actress later revealing their marriage on her birthday in July. “I am the luckiest woman in the world,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. Every woman should feel like this every day.”
Lohan and Shammas met while she was living in Dubai. They were dating for a couple of years, rather privately, before getting engaged in November 2021. After going to college in Florida, the Kuwait-born financier moved to Dubai and now works at Credit Suisse as the Assistant Vice President.
Lohan has also been in the midst of relaunching her career. This past November, her holiday movie Falling for Christmas debuted on Netflix.
