Michael Cera gets a lot of shit. "He's a one-note actor!" "He does the same shtick all the time!" "He's just an oversized toddler!" Or something like that. You get the gist. But if you actually watch him, like actually pay attention to his cinematic prowess, you'll see he's got range like any other Oscar winning actor. He can emote like an emotional beast.
Before you check out his latest film this weekend, Sebastian Silva's Crystal Fairy, where he plays a young vagabond on a quest to find a mythical hallucinogenic drug, feast your eyes on the many faces of Michael Cera. Proof that is acting ability is totes underrated.
