Last night, late-night host Jimmy Kimmel pissed off Kanye West. Maybe you've heard about this? Kimmel spoofed West's BBC interview from a few days ago, the one where he proclaimed, "I'm the No. 1 Rock Star on the planet." West wasn't pleased with the video parody and tweeted his all caps outrage at the host. Kimmel responded and then addressed the feud on his show saying he had no idea why Kanye was mad. He even showed a picture of West with Kimmel's dad at Kimmel's wedding.
This isn't the first time that Jimmy Kimmel has pissed someone off on a national level. He's fired shots heard 'round the world, at other celebrities and more. Here's a brief history of Kimme's poking and prodding.

This isn't the first time that Jimmy Kimmel has pissed someone off on a national level. He's fired shots heard 'round the world, at other celebrities and more. Here's a brief history of Kimme's poking and prodding.
Jay Leno
It all started when Jay Leno took over the Tonight Show back in 1992, though it was supposed to go to David Letterman. Jimmy Kimmel, longtime Letterman fanboy, has always hated Leno for taking Letterman's spot igniting one of the longest feuds in talk show history. He's even worn a prosthetic chin and make up to impersonate Leno. In the last year or so, the feud has gone cold. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but Kimmel would disagree.
Matt Damon
For months, many people thought that Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon were in an actual feud. Speculation started when Jimmy Kimmel would close his show with, "My apologies to Matt Damon; we ran out of time," during his third season. Damon, who had no idea what the host was talking about, finally confronted him about the running gag. Kimmel responded that the show was having an off-day, only having booked a ventriloquist and a guy in a monkey suit, so he improvised the line in frustration.
Damon and Kimmel decided to get into a fake fight on the actor's first ever appearance on the show in 2006. Kimmel cut him off early to close the show, which threw Damon into a fit off curse words and made him storm off set. He was so believable that many thought it was legit. It turns out we were all being trolled.
Emily Gould
Shit got real in April 2007 when Emily Gould, of Gawker, went on CNN and talked to Kimmel about the "Gawker Stalker" celebrity map that let people know where celebrities were based on people's sightings. Kimmel didn't like the feature to begin with and even more so when he was featured on it and accused of being "publicly intoxicated." He denied the claim, called the site slanderous and then told her to reevaluate her life before she went to hell. Wonder how that's working out for her...
Melissa Joan Hart
Poor Sabrina—we mean Melissa—never saw it coming. After being booted off Dancing With the Stars, the show that lets you know you're a washed up celebrity, Melissa Joan Hart was also reminded of that same fact by Kimmel in 2009. He asked her if she considered using witchcraft during the competition to which she quipped "that joke was like 1996." Not to be outdone Kimmel, responded, "So are you." Ouch. MJH didn't take kindly to the remark.
Morrissey
A day before Morrissey was supposed to perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live last February, the singer canceled his appearance. In a statement released to the press, the singer noted, "As far as my reputation is concerned, I can't take the risk of being on a show alongside people who, in effect, amount to animal serial killers," referring to the cast members of Duck Dynasty who'd share the stage with him that night.
Kimmel responded, "While I respect [Morrissey's] stance...there's a very good reason why I didn't dump the Duck Dynasty guys for [him]—and it's because they have guns...[Morrissey] keeps finding new ways to depress us." Naturally, this shook Morrissey, prompting to retort, "Tune in [to Jimmy Kimmel Live] and relive the intellectual fog of the 1950s."
The Internet
Remember where you were when you saw that ultimate twerk fail video? You know, the one in which a girl films herself twerking for her boyfriend against a door, only to have that door open and her fall onto the lit candles on her coffee table, consequently setting herself on fire? That shit was hilarious. You put that on all of your friends' Facebook walls. It turns out, Jimmy Kimmel was just fucking with us.
On his show, he revealed a new cut of the video, in which he shows up at the end, revealing him to be the evil genius behind the viral hit. This prompted commenters to unleash their rage on Kimmel and bloggers to write essays answering the question, "Did Jimmy Kimmel ruin the Internet?"
