This is hardly any surprise, but confirmation is always nice to hear. According to Vulture, FX announced today that ratings juggernaut American Horror Story has been renewed for a third season. But wait - that's not even the best part. Not only is the show coming back, but Jessica Lange has also officially signed on to star again. Other cast members may return as different characters as well, but nothing's official on that front yet. Right, so, our dreams? All coming true.
No information is available just yet about what the third season will entail, but we do know that it will be completely unrelated to seasons one and two, as has been the trend so far.
