After the monstrosity that was his last film, That's My Boy, Adam Sandler is heading in a different direction for his next project. According to Deadline, Sandler will appear in Ridiculous 6, a Western comedy that is being produced through his production company Happy Madison.
As the title is a little bit of a parody of the 1960 Western drama Magnificent Seven, it's possible that the film will be as well - but, officially, nothing other than the name and the genre of the film has been confirmed. Sandler and Billy Madison co-writer Tim Herlihy will write the film, and the release date is currently slated for Spring Break weekend in 2014.
