You might think the Hollywood community loves to attend nonstop red carpet premieres, industry parties, and the like. But, as it turns out, most actors get exhausted with all the lights, camera, action and are just as happy to kick it at home. We asked some celebrities what their favorite TV shows are and this is what they had to say.
Game of Thrones's Pedro Pascal
Pascal says: "I like Mad Men’s Don Draper. The guy is super cool and he wears that suit well I also geek out over quite a shows like True Detective. I loved both characters and was anticipating every Sunday it was on. And I am loving The Leftovers now. I am an HBO geek. Oh, and Orange is The New Black. I am going to be doing a series for Netflix called Narcos, which is about the capturing of Pablo Escobar and my character is really interesting, too."
Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany
Maslany says: "I’m kinda a geek. I love Futurama. I even had Leela, Fry, and Nibbler figurines on my bookshelf. And I just love Adventure Time. Finn is my favorite character . If I was dressing up in cosplay, I would want to be him."
Legends' Sean Bean
Bean says: "I still watch Game of Thrones kinda on and off. I wouldn’t say I’m glued to it, but I’m just kind of interested to see how the characters develop, especially like my children, Arya and Jon Snow and all those guys. And they’re actually growing up in front of your eyes, literally. Like little Arya and Bran, they were very young people at that time and now they’ve grown into women and men. It’s wonderful and it’s just a wonderful production. It’s something that’s unique and totally not like anything on television. It could go on forever and ever."
The Mindy Project's Mindy Kaling
Kaling says: "I like Brooklyn Nine-Nine...and a lot of dramas. The Americans is such a good show, I love it. I love Game of Thrones, and SNL, and Breaking Bad. But who doesn’t love Walter White?!"
Sons of Anarchy's Charlie Hunnam
Hunnam says: "I just got into Downton Abbey and I watched all of it, the first four seasons. Then I watched House of Cards recently to a couple of seasons. I will Netflix shows and binge them once in awhile, but for the most part I don’t really watch TV."
Selfie's Karen Gillan
Gillan says: "My favorite show growing up is Friends. I know it’s not on currently, but the most exciting thing in the world is that we are filming Selfie on the same lot where they filmed that show. I can't believe it when I'm walking around. It’s like the most insane thing. And I’m telling everyone on the lot, 'Do you realize how far your TV shows reach in the world?' Because I’m from the top of Scotland and Friends affected my life so much."
