Taylor Swift is back in the headlines with the announcement of her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, exciting fans everywhere. Together with her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, the two of them have become one of today’s most talked-about celebrity couples. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has recently drawn attention not only for his football talent and relationship with Swift, but also for his increasing net worth and business achievements.

Kelce, 35, began his NFL journey in 2013 when he was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs, the team he has played for ever since. With 10 Pro Bowl selections and 3 Super Bowl wins under his belt, Kelce holds multiple NFL records, leading many to consider him as one of the greatest tight ends of all time.

Before beginning a relationship with billionaire pop star Swift in 2023, Kelce was already a well-known and accomplished football player. Since their romance began, his popularity has skyrocketed, resulting in a significant boost in commercial sales. According to Forbes, between February 2023 and 2024, he earned $2.4 million from jersey sales, video games, and other group licensing deals.

As reported by Forbes, Kelce’s net worth was estimated at $52 million as of September 2024. He also ranked among the top 10 highest-paid NFL players that year. In April 2024, Kelce signed a two-year contract extension with the Chiefs worth $34.25 million, setting an NFL record for the highest average annual value for a tight end.

Kelce recently extended his business ventures into the podcasting space. He and his brother, former Eagles center Jason Kelce, signed a three-year podcast deal with Amazon’s Wondery, reportedly worth at least $105 million. Their podcast, titled New Heights with Jason & Travis Kelce, served as the platform where Kelce's sweetheart Swift announced her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl, on Wednesday, August 13.
