When you think of video game franchises that should be turned into movies, the classic arcade game Rampage probably isn't on your radar. Apparently, producer John Rickard (of A Nightmare on Elm Street and Final Destination fame) thinks it should be. A few years ago, Warner Bros. purchased the rights to the Rampage franchise from Midway Games and it looks like we could see a "smartly-budgeted monster movie in the vein and tone of Ghostbusters and Independence Day." We'd go see it.
