Audiences might be busy counting down the days until the release of Quentin Tarantino's tenth and final film. But even then, a recent announcement has given longtime fans of the director more than enough reason to celebrate in the interim.

According to Variety, the publishing team at Insight Editions is set to produce a series of nonfiction books centered around each of Tarantino's past films.

The series will be penned by writer Jay Glennie, who similarly confirmed his intention to cover the director's upcoming tenth film (whenever it eventually is released). But don't let Glennie's plans get you too excited. As per Variety, the author has said that he doesn't know anything about Tarantino's filmmaking plans.

"I haven't even discussed that one," Glennie said, speaking about Tarantino's tenth movie. "I'll cross that bridge when I get there."

While Tarantino's tenth movie might be a ways away, Glennie is slated to release his first entry in the series, The Making of Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, on November 11.

As viewers likely remember, Tarantino's most recent film focused on the dying days of 1960s Hollywood, following a down-on-his-luck actor (Leonardo DiCaprio), his grizzled stunt double (Brad Pitt), and the real-life actress Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie).

The new book will incorporate key background information about Once Upon a Time in Hollywood's production, from its initial writing process up to its eventual release. It will also include interviews with many of the film's most prominent cast and crew, including Tarantino, DiCaprio, Pitt, Robbie, Al Pacino, Margaret Qualley, and many others.

In addition to the book's upcoming release, Glennie is currently locked into writing his next two entries in the series, centered around the World War II film Inglourious Basterds and the Western Django Unchained. While a firm publishing date has yet to be identified, the next two installments will be released in 2026 and 2027, respectively.
