A baby that had reportedly been cured of HIV is now out of remission. The child was born in 2010 to a mother infectedi with HIV and given an antiretroviral cocktail immediately after birth. For the past two years it looked like doctors had actually succeeded in subverting the virus, making global headlines in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Now, however, the child has once again tested positive for the virus.
