Apparently it's really difficult to mod Alan Wake. So difficult that developers Remedy never released the modding tools at all, and you need a special community-developed tool that unpacks a 3GB file just to change textures.
So just be aware how impressive it is that modder Xymbiot3 added a Hello Kitty skin to Alan's flashlight. Even if it is just a Hello Kitty skin. We'd have rather seen Kerokerokeroppi, but then again we do have a thing for frogs.
