Call it an April Fool's prank if you like, but what Google has done today is much better than nair in your shampoo or a dumb Facebook status about being pregnant. Google has made everyone believe in Pokémon again.

Update the Google Maps app on your phone today, tap the search bar, then tap "press start," and Pokémon will begin to appear on your map. Explore the world from your app and you can catch up to 150. Just like you used to fantasize as a kid, Pokémon are everywhere today: downtown, in the park, on a mountain, in the ocean—all you have to do is look.

Here are ten places to make sure you go before the day is done. Happy Pokémon catching!

Hopefully next year Google will take this one step further and actually clone us up some real life Pokémon.

Location: CN Tower

Pokémon: Pidgey

Who else would be hanging out at this enormous concrete tower in Toronto than everyone's least favorite bird Pokémon?

Fun fact: the CN Tower is one of the seven wonders of the modern world. Wouldn't Ho-oh have suited it better?

Location: Central Park

Pokémon: Sylveon and Serperior

Right, because there are lots of snakes…and foxes…and fairies…in Central Park. Or something.

Location: Yankee Stadium

Pokémon: Eevee

Eevee is apparently a Yankees fan. Or someone at Google is, at least. Yeah, that's probably a safe bet.

Wonder what Eevee evolves into when exposed to the mystical stone known as a baseball?

Location: Krakatoa

Pokémon: Typhlosion

There are Pokémon all over at major volcanoes around the world. Typhlosion and Krakatoa just happen to be a great combination.

Location: Google New York

Pokémon: Salamence

The Google Campus in California is currently home to more than a dozen Pokémon, including Metagross and Dragonite.

The Google building in New York only has one. But that's OK, because it's Salamence.

Location: Old Faithful

Pokémon: Charizard

Old Faithful erupts, Charizard erupts. They both emit steam when they're not erupting. Old Faithful has been around for a long time, Charizard has been around since Pokémon Red and Blue.

Yup, besides the whole water-kills-fire thing, this makes plenty of sense.

Location: Pompeii

Pokémon: Tyranitar

At least now we know what really happened at Pompeii. And it had nothing to do with Jon Snow's abs.

Location: Tokyo Tower

Pokémon: Pikachu

Everyone's favorite electric rodent gets a special spot in Google Maps atop the Tokyo Tower.

Hopefully he brought a bunch of balloons or he might have some trouble getting down, though; this tower is the second-tallest structure in Japan. Geronimo! I mean, "Pikaaaaaa!"

Location: The White House

Pokémon: Meganium

Not even going to hazard a guess as to what this one's about.

Location: Vatican City

Pokémon: Snorlax

Fat, lazy, and usually in the way. Yup, Snorlax hanging out at the Vatican makes perfect sense.

Let no one say Google doesn't have a sense of humor.
