Kai Cenat has revealed someone played a prank and called a SWAT team in the middle of his 30-day subathon event.
On Saturday, Cenat went on Instagram Live to let his followers know someone had called a SWAT team to the house where the event, popularly known as "Mafiathon 2," was being held. The 22-year-old can be seen standing outside the home with a group of people and stating a SWAT team was searching through the home while revealing he was also banned from Twitch.
"The house got swatted because somebody called and said false information to troll," said Cenat. "Twitch just banned me mid-subathon, bro. Twitch just literally banned me, shit is not even in my control. I'm literally posted outside the house, and there's nothing even crazy. I didn't even do nothing. Mid-subathon, though, bro."
He continued, "So now I gotta wait a whole few hours for these n***as to go through shit, not a few a hours, but they're probably going for another 30 minutes and this house is big as shit. Now I gotta wait when they could just search the room real quick and that's it like, what the fuck. Ima see what's up. They most likely might unban me."
Cenat returned to the platform shortly after and tweeted to his fans that the subathon was running back on schedule. "GOT BANNED AND SWATTED IN THE LAST 30 MINS BUT WE BACK 140,000 SUBS HIT THANK THE LORDBLESSED#Mafiathon2," he wrote.
The second-ever subathon had been making headlines even before Cenat started streaming to kick off the event. Cenat shared a message on his Instagram announcing that 20 percent of profits made through the livestream will go towards building a school in Nigeria.
"I visited Nigeria not too long ago and I absolutely loved it...I say that to say this for the next 30 days while I'm streaming, 20% of all revenue will be going straight to the school that I am still currently building for the kids of Mokoko," he wrote.
