IShowSpeed's Africa livestream tour has quickly turned into a nonstop highlight reel, and a moment during his latest stop had locals cracking up.

While streaming from a small town in the Sahara Desert in Algeria, Speed decided to purchase a pair of sandals from a local vendor. But the moment became a highlight when Speed misunderstood the vendor's price of 2,200 Algerian dinars, which is around $17.

Instead of recognizing it as currency, Speed hilariously misinterpreted it as 2,200 plates of dinner for a pair of sandals, leaving the shopkeeper and nearby locals visibly confused, before everyone erupted into laughter as Speed kept trying to process what he thought he was hearing.

"How much he want for them," Speed asked before the vendor told him 2,200 Algerian dinars. "Dinners? Dinners? Like a food dinner?"

The Algeria mishap is the latest viral moment from Speed's Africa run, which has already seen the streamer go full immersion mode. Earlier this week, Speed was also live in Kenya's Maasai Mara region, where he participated in a traditional Maasai practice that included drinking cow's blood mixed with milk.

Before trying it, Speed warned viewers who might be uncomfortable with blood to click away. A guide on stream explained the cow wasn't harmed or killed, breaking down how the blood was taken from a live cow, collected, then mixed with milk, noting that blood, meat, and milk are key staples in Maasai tradition and are packed with protein.

Speed couldn't resist cracking jokes before taking his first sip, asking what it would taste like and comparing it to cereal. But once he tried it, he described the mixture as "salty," then celebrated the moment with a shocked but excited reaction.

That's when Speed fully leaned into the experience, repeatedly telling fans he was "really Maasai" after drinking it.
