Channing Tatum is on the road to recovery after undergoing surgery for a serious shoulder injury.
The actor revealed on Instagram that he recently went under the knife to repair what he described as a “separated shoulder.” Sharing a black-and-white photo from his hospital bed, Tatum was seen wearing a medical gown and cap as he prepared for the procedure.
“Just another day. Another challenge. This one is gonna be hard. But whatever. Let’s get it,” he wrote alongside the image.
Tatum later offered more details through his Instagram Stories, explaining what doctors were working on. In one post, he shared an X-ray of his shoulder and upper arm, showing two broken bones.
“Separated shoulder,” he captioned the image.
In a follow-up post, Tatum showed another X-ray taken after surgery, this time revealing a large screw now holding the bones in place.
“Screwed shoulder. Yay,” he joked.
The actor didn’t share how the injury happened.
