Bhad Bhabie is pushing back against online criticism surrounding her appearance, calling out social media users for comparing photos of her as a teenager to how she looks now in her early 20s.

The rapper and internet personality addressed the discourse in a lengthy series of Instagram Stories over the weekend, following a viral side-by-side post comparing older photos of her at 15 to more recent ones.

“Why do people constantly compare photos of me when I was 13-15 thinking I’m gonna look the same at 20-23,” she wrote. “Y’all weird.”

Bhad Bhabie explained that much of her physical change over the years simply came from getting older, changing hairstyles, spending more time in the sun, and cosmetic enhancements such as lip filler and a nose job.

She also claimed that many of her earlier looks were shaped by management decisions during the beginning of her career rather than her own creative preferences.

“I was 15 in that photo being forced to wear that red ponytail for 5 years,” she said, adding that she often pushed for more control over her image at the time.

The conversation later shifted toward longtime accusations from critics who have claimed she tries to appear Black through certain hairstyles, makeup choices, or fashion decisions. Bhad Bhabie argued that people have contradicted themselves over the years, noting that even older photos now being used for comparisons were once criticized in the exact same way.

“What’s crazy is… y’all were commenting under those pictures when they were first posted saying I wanted to be Black,” she wrote. “But now y’all are making these before and after pictures saying in the before I looked White and then the after I look like I wanna be Black. So which one is it?”

The 23-year-old said people often assign specific traits or aesthetics to one race and then accuse others of imitation when they share similar features or styles.

“It literally does not matter what I do,” she continued in another post, claiming critics would still make the same accusations regardless of how she styled herself.

Bhad Bhabie also clarified her background in her posts, stating that she is Italian and Jewish and was raised in a Catholic Italian household. Toward the end of the rant, she referenced Kanye West while warning followers not to push her further online.

“Every time y’all try me like y’all Kanye crazy, I’ma go Kanye crazy,” she wrote.
