Brad Pitt Shares Shocking ‘Confession’ About Gross On‑Set Mishap

It started with beans and ended with 60 crew members fleeing for fresh air.

While promoting F1, Brad Pitt joined brothers Jason and Travis Kelce on New Heights to talk about everything from the dangers of chasing franchise fame to the thrill of driving real Formula 1 cars for the upcoming film.

But what really stood out during the trio’s discussion? A stomach-churning “confession” from one of Pitt’s earliest acting gigs.

“I’ll tell you a story. I haven’t thought about this for years,” the 61-year-old Hollywood icon began.

Setting the scene, Pitt explained that he was filming one of his first indie movies inside a tiny, overcrowded café packed with 60 crew members. It was hot, cramped, and his character hadn’t eaten in days — so the script called for a big plate of beans and bacon.

Leaning into the role, the Fight Club actor went full method. “I just power down this plate of beans,” he said, repeating the same gut-busting routine for four takes. By the fourth round, something shifted.

“Something hit me,” he admitted, prompting Jason, 37, to jump in: “Oh, I know exactly what hit you.”

The three men burst into laughter.

“There was nothing I could do,” Pitt continued, alluding to an unavoidable bout of gas. “I was stuck in this chair, and nature took its course.” At first, he thought he’d gotten away with it. Then the smell hit the crew.

“The most diabolical something something descended on the crew in the whole room and they fleed the café. Fleed,” the Oscar winner revealed, before adding, “So, the confession you’ve heard first — right here.”

After that day, Pitt said, “I pace myself.”

While the A-lister didn’t name the film, he did famously chow down on baked beans in Johnny Suede — a 1991 indie that might just be the scene of the crime.

Off camera, Pitt is a dad of six — Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and 16‑year‑old twins Knox and Vivienne — whom he shares with ex‑wife Angelina Jolie. The former couple, married in 2014 and separated in 2016, continue to co‑parent their children.
