Perro Negro started in a 250-person basement in Medellín's Provenza neighborhood. Bad Bunny named a song after it on his 2023 album with Feid. Karol G, Maluma, Ryan Castro, and Blessd have all come through. It won Miami New Times' 2024 Best Latin Party.

Now the Medellín-born nightlife brand is hosting a party on Saturday at Wynwood Walls for one of the biggest football clubs in Europe.

Atlético de Madrid, the Spanish club that just sold a majority stake to Apollo Sports Capital in a deal worth nearly $3 billion, is opening Casa Atleti Miami this weekend as the first stop of Red & White On Tour, a new global fan platform. Per the press release, the concept is built to travel "independently of the competition calendar," meaning it shows up whether or not the team is playing nearby.

Saturday's lineup includes a live painting session with Lili Cantero, the Miami-based Paraguayan artist who went viral after sending Messi a pair of hand-painted cleats depicting his life story. She's since created work for Ronaldinho, exhibited at the Qatar World Cup, and been featured by CNN and The New York Times, according to her website. And then Perro Negro takes over that night.

The weekend wraps around the Madrid derby, Atlético versus rival Real Madrid at the Bernabéu, airing on ESPN at 4 p.m. ET Sunday. Casa Atleti is screening the match live, alongside a 1v1 cage tournament with Art Basel FC, a live mural with a surprise guest, a club museum, and an official merch store.

According to the event website, Red & White members get priority access and early perks — the first 100 through the door receive a postcard signed by a first-team player.

Atlético is in the middle of one of its biggest stretches in years. The club hammered Tottenham 5-2 in the Champions League Round of 16 first leg last week, has a Copa del Rey final scheduled for April, and just added Spain's all-time leading scorer David Villa to its board following the Apollo deal.

As for Real Madrid, they enter the derby sitting second in La Liga, led by Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Jr.
