Atlas Artists is backing the global rollout of Val Segal ELLO, a new messaging and content platform built for creators, publishers, and entertainment companies seeking more control over distribution and monetization.

Launched this week across iOS, Android, and the web, ELLO was created by entrepreneur Val Segal after years of work in YouTube’s multi-channel ecosystem.

“ELLO isn’t just another messaging app, it’s a communication platform built for the creator economy,” said Dave Fleming, CEO of Atlas Artists.

“It combines private messaging with channels, subscriptions, and monetization in a way that no major messenger has successfully done.”

Segal developed ELLO over seven years, drawing from his background operating a licensed YouTube Multi-Channel Network. The result is a hybrid platform that merges media publishing with secure messaging, eliminating reliance on social algorithms or third-party dashboards.

ELLO supports video, audio, livestreaming, and digital publishing within a unified interface. For legacy media brands, the platform enables mobile-native magazine publishing—eschewing PDFs in favor of scrollable, interactive formats optimized for smartphone consumption.

Unlike competitors, ELLO also integrates native ad and subscription revenue. An internal wallet provides real-time analytics and payouts for creators, musicians, studios, and media brands, all accessible without external tools.

“We’ve built a secure, dynamic platform where communication, content, and business growth live together, giving creators and publishers real ownership of their audience,” Segal said.

Strategic launch partners include Atlas Artists, Amo Pictures, Supernova, and Paragon West. To preserve exclusivity, ELLO will grant no more than 100 Multi-Channel Licenses in its first phase, adopting a model similar to YouTube’s early MCN strategy.
