Steve Harvey hilariously weighed in on a wife who shared a story about her husband, who has forgotten 15 out of 19 anniversaries.
The former talk show host shared a flashback clip on Facebook, where an audience member described how her husband called their wedding the “best day of his life,” but still couldn’t remember their anniversary.
“Should I be mad at him?” she asked. “It didn’t take you 15 times to get mad?” he responded.
Harvey used the barometer of his longstanding marriage to Marjorie Harvey to guide the audience member in the right direction. The couple has been married for 18 years.
Harvey continued, “I can’t forget my anniversary. There’s no way I can forget my anniversary.”
“I can’t forget her birthday, I don’t know what it is! I’m not allowed to forget.”
Harvey told the audience member, “15 out of 19? There’s something wrong with your man!”
His suggestion? Two weeks ahead of the date, she has to start “reminding” him of the occasion.
“Let me explain something to you. If Marjorie and I are up at midnight, she’d be lying in the bed just looking upside my head. I can feel her,” he joked.
“You can feel your wife looking at you. You know, cause you don’t hear that breathing you need to hear.”
He said she asked him, “Are you forgetting something?” His response? “It’s 12:30 a.m., what the hell am I forgetting?”
Steve and Marjorie married in June 2007. Together, they have a blended family of seven kids, including Steve’s children, Morgan, Wynton, and Broderick Jr, Marjorie’s children, Jason and Lori, and the couple’s two children, Brandi and Karli.
