Singer and songwriter Renee Rapp trolled Joe Rogan in a hilarious moment that’s breaking the internet.
In an interview with Alex Cooper for the podcast Call Her Daddy, Rapp admits to not knowing who Rogan is. She asks the host, “I need you to tell me something. Who the f*** is Joe Rogan?”
“Because I saw a TikTok using his name today, and I was like, ‘What is that?’” the entertainer continued. “And that was not the first time I’d heard this name. But I’m not sure who that is.”
“He’s not in Oceans 11. Who is this?" she asked.
Cooper then mentioned Fear Factor. Rogan hosted the NBC reality competition from 2001 to 2006. To try and get Rapp on board, she asked if she was familiar with the UFC. The singer replied, “He’s a fighter? He’s my height. I guess you don’t have to be tall to be a fighter.”
A portion of the interview was shared on Call Her Daddy’s Instagram page, where Rapp’s commentary about Rogan was front and center. Listeners couldn’t believe her remarks.
“Who the f*** is Joe Rogan is maybe my favorite quote ever quoted,” wrote one Instagram user. A second penned, “Her not knowing who Brad Pitt and Joe Rogan are made me feel so old.”
Some Instagram users insisted that the entertainer had to be joking. One wrote, “Dude has the most successful podcast in the world." Others bit back, “More like who is Renee Rapp???”
“So many older people on here embarrassing themselves. She wasn’t dissing him; she genuinely didn’t know who he was. She’s young and cool, of course, she doesn’t know who he is because he’s neither," another Instagram user deduced.
Rapp, 25, is best known for her music, starring in the Mean Girls film, and the HBO Max series, The Sex Lives of College Girls. Rogan, 57, anchors the podcast The Joe Rogan Experience.
