Growing up, Colm Dillane moved around a lot. Born in New York, he’d eventually call Chicago, Mexico, and Wisconsin home. All the bouncing around allowed Dillane to see the world, but it also meant that making friends would be an ongoing process. As a remedy, Dillane brought along his one friend wherever he went, and it was a passion passed down from his father.
“Soccer is my one consistency,” Dillane says. “Every place I travel to, the first thing I do is play. It’s my first introduction; it’s my biography.”
Eventually, Dillane made his way back to New York, graduating from NYU, and through a razor-sharp focus along with creativity, launched his own designs under the name KidSuper. Despite being an in-demand designer, the 34-year-old has maintained his friendship with the game, so much so that Dillane built a soccer pitch on the roof of his Brooklyn studio and co-founded KidSuper Samba AC in June 2017. The youth soccer club in Harlem combines Brazilian-style soccer with art and fashion, with the goal of introducing soccer to as many kids as possible.
Now, in partnership with Bank of America, the Official Bank of U.S. Soccer and the FIFA World Cup 2026™, and Complex, KidSuper is releasing a limited-edition soccer jersey benefiting expanding access to soccer across America. The jersey—available on Complex Shop now—combines the traditions of the game with KidSuper’s unmistakable aesthetic and attention to detail. The artwork that appears on the jersey is at once serious and whimsical, a hand-drawn testament to the spirit of soccer.
The message is clear: Soccer, Dillane says, is a “universal language spoken without words.”

Another advantage of the soccer jersey: It can be worn year-round. In the summer, it’s a breathable alternative to those heavy-duty cotton tees you kept on ice. And when the temperature drops, you can throw a thermal or long-sleeve under it comfortably, without feeling like you’re carrying a mountain of fabric.

A jersey isn’t a jersey without a number. KidSuper turned the back of this one into an art project, notes included. The scribbles are a counterbalance to the clean colorblocking, creating a top that looks and feels custom.
