A bunch of great movies came out in 1998. Perhaps that's why PlayStation put out this commercial to remind gamers that you really don't need friends. After all, you have Crash Bandicoot and Tomb Raider to keep you company.
If you weren't watching the box office smashes of the day: Saving Private Ryan, The Truman Show, Armageddon, (and its Morgan Freeman-filled counterpart Deep Impact), or Godzilla then someone was probably trying to make you watch goddamn Shakespeare in Love. No doubt you would have taken yourself home to your real girl; Lara Croft.
