Post–Get Out, Jordan Peele's been on a proper Hollywood glow-up, which has included Peele being added to the reboot of the classic anthology series The Twilight Zone. Today, official word hit that the revival, which has Peele on as an executive producer alongside Simon Kinberg (who is behind the X-Men television and movie series) and Marco Ramirez (Marvel's The Defenders) has gotten an official series order.
The Twilight Zone, which ran for five seasons from 1959 to 1964, has found a home on CBS All Access, CBS' on-demand service that many discovered during the Grammys broadcast, also the home of Star Trek: Discovery. In a statement from CBS, Kinberg says the show "was a touchstone in my life. The opportunity to continue its lineage is a dream come true, and I’m so thrilled to be doing it with Jordan, Marco, and the team at CBS All Access."
Peele, who's been campaigning for Get Out and how much it resembles the truth in America, says, "Too many times this year it’s felt we were living in a twilight zone, and I can’t think of a better moment to reintroduce it to modern audiences."
To the surprise of no one, heads are hype for Peele's Twilight Zone revival.
