First meetings can be awkward, especially if the stranger entering your home happens to be the sworn enemy of your people. So when Cato, a feisty black-and-white feline, saw his furry nemesis strolling up to the front door-he was not having it. In a humorous clip uploaded to YouTube, he lets out a series of blood curdling screams as if to say “How dare you?!”
The video was recorded by Kerry Gillette, a primary care physician assistant at Unity Healthcare according to the Daily Mail. In all honesty, we can’t blame him for the visceral reaction. It’s not like the new guy brought a housewarming bunt cake or anything.
While many were amused by the footage, some weren’t so pleased. One commentor chided Gillette for putting the family pet in a “panic and distressed state.” Gillette has since responded to the outrage, saying:
