Amber Heard Reportedly Spending a Lot of Time With Billionaire Elon Musk Amid Johnny Depp Divorce

It’s been a rough few months for actress Amber Heard, who filed for divorce from Johnny Depp in May and who was subsequently granted a restraining order after claiming spousal abuse. In the wake of the media storm that followed, she’s be laying low for the most part.

Now, reports are surfacing that she’s finding solace in a wealthy friend. According to TMZ, Heard has been hanging out with billionaire Elon Musk, the man behind Tesla.

She and her sister reportedly chilled in Musk’s hotel in Miami last weekend and had a solo dinner date at his home in L.A. a few weeks ago. TMZ’s sources also said she recently came to Musk’s hood for some quality time and visited his home a few times. In fact, their friendly hangouts have increased since splitting from Depp. However, it might be way too early put a name on it.

While Musk’s $12.7 billion net worth definitely trumps Depp’s measly $400 million, he’s not without his own baggage. Musk is in the midst of divorce after marrying ex Talulah for a second time.

Still, that pales in comparison to Heard’s claims that Depp was "verbally and physically abusive" throughout their entire relationship. In court documents, she said, "I endured excessive emotional, verbal and physical abuse from Johnny, which has included angry, hostile, humiliating and threatening assaults to me whenever I questioned his authority or disagreed with him."

She also cited an incident after her birthday celebration in April, in which Depp allegedly "grabbed me by the hair and violently shoved me to the floor." She added that "Johnny was also screaming and threatening me, taunting me to stand up" and that he stormed off "breaking nearly everything in his path."

Depp's team has vehemently denied these allegations.
