Tom Hardy Quits Acting, Becomes Rapper

"I grew up on the crime side; the New York Times side."

This past week on Instagram, you may have scrolled upon one or several videos of English actor Tom Hardy lip-syncing bits of the Wu-Tang Clan's "C.R.E.A.M." (above), Dizzee Rascal's "Nutcrackerz," and 50 Cent's "P.I.M.P." Is Tom Hardy, dubsmash savant, telling us something?

While Hugh Jackman and Joaquin Phoenix's respective stabs at rap left much to be disavowed, Hardy may indeed be a real one. 50 Cent himself co-signed the actor's rendition of "P.I.M.P.," claiming Hardy as a next gen G-Unit artist. I, however, think the Dizzee Rascal clip is Hardy's best work.

Watch Tom Hardy's hip-hop demo reel below.
