More than three decades deep into his acting career, Eddie Murphy has amassed a long list of awards and accomplishments. From critically acclaimed features and cult classics to knee-slapping comedies and box office blowouts, he’s done it all.

As entertaining as his movies are, Murphy boasts an equally prolific dating history. The 51-year-old actor has run the gambit throughout the years, dating actresses, singers—really famous singers—and even a few regular girls. One (legally recognized) marriage, four baby mamas, and eight kids later, Eddie Murphy is none worse for the wear. In fact, he’s still going strong, and his current fling with 106 & Park host Rocsi Diaz got us wondering who else might be on his list of hook-ups. Continue reading for a brief history of the actor's conquests.

Maya Gilbert

In March 2010, Eddie Murphy and Maya Gilbert revealed their relationship in a very public manner: courtside at a Lakers game. Murphy and the Zane's Sex Chronicles star were coupled up on national TV. The relationship ran its course, however, and the pair was done just two months later. Not surprisingly, Murphy rebounded immediately, while Gilbert was left wondering what happened.

Smash Probability: Courtside Lakers tickets aren't exactly a cheap date. Something tells us he got a nice return on his investment.

Jasmine Guy

Eddie Murphy and Jasmine Guy presumably met on the set of 1989 comedy Harlem Nights. By then, Murphy was a legitimate A-list actor with several Golden Globe nods and a tremendous box office history. Guy had already made a name for herself on Fame, A Different World, and School Daze. An innocent fling was the rumor, but any sort of relationship beyond the filming of the movie is doubtful, as Murphy certainly had his hands full with other starlets.

Smash Probability: At the time, it was every boy's dream to get with Whitley Gilbert from A Different World, while Eddie Murphy happened to be the star of the moment. An off-screen romance wouldn't be a far-fetched.

Toni Braxton

In February 2012, rumors flew that Murphy and R&B songstress Toni Braxton were in cahoots. Sources reported that the two were getting close and things were progressing quickly. Eventually, Murphy put the rumors to rest in an Access Hollywood interview. "I know I'm single and I'm just up at the house, playing the guitar and being a single dad," he claimed. "Toni and I are just friends."

Smash Probability: Ah yes, the "just friends" card. Not the first time an A-list actor has used it, and it certainly won't be the last. We see you, Eddie.

Melanie Brown

If the name Melanie Brown doesn't ring a bell, perhaps Scary Spice will. Yup, Eddie Murphy bagged a Spice Girl. And not only that, but he knocked her up. Shortly after splitting with Nicole Mitchell in 2006, Murphy wined and dined Mel B. Tabloids were quick to report on the developing romance, and by October of the same year it was revealed that Brown was pregnant with Murphy's child. Months later, the couple split. Brown gave birth to Angel Iris Murphy Brown in April 2007.

Smash Probability: "We're not together anymore," said Murphy in a 2006 interview with Dutch TV show RTL Boulevard. "And I don't know whose child that is, until it comes out and has a blood test." Well, Eddie, the results came in, and when it comes to baby Angel Iris, YOU ARE THE FATHER.

Tracey Edmonds

The love affair started in the fall of 2006. Whether or not there was any overlap between Edmonds and Melanie Brown is questionable. In any event, the pair got engaged and eventually tied the knot in a non-binding ceremony in Bora Bora. The "marriage" barely lasted longer than the honeymoon, as the two split just two weeks after exchanging vows. Fail. At least the wedding wasn't a nationally televised event.

Smash Probability: Eddie put a ring on it, so she must have been doing something right.

Lara LaRue

Moving on from Tracey Edmonds, Eddie Murphy got cozy with waitress Lara LaRue, sister of CSI: Miami star Eva LaRue. Despite the 22-year age difference, Murphy seemed to be smitten for a while, but in the end the dichotomy of status ultimately lead to an uneventful split.

Smash Probability: The whole relationship appeared to be nothing more than a glorified rebound, something to transition from Tracey Edmonds to a blockbuster upgrade. It was fun while it lasted, though.

Whitney Houston

Eddie and Whitney were A-list superstars when they met in the mid-1980's. Rumors of a secret fling flared up, but there really wasn't any hard evidence to support it, just hearsay. Decades later, following Whitney's untimely death, Murphy went on the record in an interview with Extra. "I was never dating Whitney," he dished. "She was a friend of mine. I may have gone to dinner with her a few times, it was never like we were dating—we were never boyfriend and girlfriend."

Smash Probability: Denial is a go-to method to deflect controversial questions, but in this instance we have to give Eddie Murphy the benefit of the doubt. Given the circumstance under which he addressed his rumored relationship with Whitney, anything but the truth would be wrong.

Rocsi Diaz

Last month, Eddie Murphy and Rocsi Diaz, host of BET's 106 & Park, spent a romantic vacation together in Hawaii. The pair were spotted cuddled up on the balcony of up their deluxe suite, and if we didn't know any better, we could have easily mistaken them for a newlywed couple. However, considering they've only been dating for such a short period of time, we don't think wedding bells are chiming just yet.

Smash Probability: There is a lot of down time when vacationing on an island. We're sure they found a way to pass it.

Nicole Mitchell

Eddie Murphy and Nicole Mitchell met in 1988 and carried on a five-year relationship before getting married in 1993. 5 kids and 12 years of holy matrimony later, Mitchell filed for divorce from Murphy in August 2005. By 2006 the marriage completely dissolved. Mitchell walked away with a cool $15 million and a mansion, but allegedly squandered it on poor investments and a multi-million dollar fraud scandal.

Smash Probability: They were married for over a decade and had five children together. Come on.

Melody Thornton

In September 2008, Eddie Murphy was spotted at Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton's private 24th birthday bash. Seems innocent, yes, but apparently the two were getting close—close enough to look like they might be something more than just friends. Coming off failed spells with Tracey Edmonds and Lara LaRue, Eddie was looking for some TLC, and Melody seemed like an easy rebound.

Smash Probablility: There is no concrete evidence that they took the party back to the telly, but we're sure birthday sex was the mission.
