Satanists are people too, and they have feelings. Luigi and Angie Bellaviste are furious that someone stole the “VOTE SATAN” sign from the front porch of their Mountain View, Colorado, home. Because their religion isn’t “mainstream,” the couple believes they’re the victims of a hate crime.
Citing statues of the Virgin Mary and various “I Love Jesus” memorabilia, the couple must not grasp how their upside-down crosses, fake spiders, skulls and mannequins dressed as witches and devils are received by the rest of the community. Regardless, a crime has been committed and our guess for the culprit’s motivation is that the devil made them do it.
How ironic.
